Father's House is an initiative of four Devon based ministries working together - Cornerstone Fellowship, Tavistock Community Church, Gilead Foundations and The Worship Centre bringing authentic Christian ministers into the region for conferences in a denominationally-neutral setting that is accessible to everyone, for the purpose of building up the people of God and extending the Kingdom of God.
Cornerstone Fellowship, Tavistock Community Church and Gilead Foundations have been in relationship for over two decades, working together from the heart as each brings their own 'callings' into the mix for the sake of the Kingdom of God - involving church, missions, media, business activities, drug and alcohol rehabilitation and festivals and conferences. The Worship Centre have come into this relationship in recent years and now partner in this initiative.
Father's house is an expression of this relationship, where national and international Christian ministers and speakers are brought into the South West region to edify the body of Christ, during conferences usually spanning a weekend at venues in Tavistock and Plymouth.
Father's House was born in the mid 2000's following a prophetic word from Tony Fitzgerald, (founder of Church of the Nations), about revival in the South West. We're called Father's House because we recognise that this is Father God's idea, not ours. He's the wonderful head of this house, we are brothers and sisters because we are first sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father - The source of our relationship is Father God in Jesus Christ, not the projects in which we partner.
The King's in Tavistock (home of Tavistock Community Church), is our main conference venue - a converted nightclub with room for over two hundred people, with The Worship Centre providing an excellent space for speakers to minister during the weekend as an evening venue in Plymouth. Depending on the availability and commitments of our speakers, we would also aim to arrange for them to be hosted by other local churches who may want to do so - this is all about the gospel of the Kingdom of God, and not one particular church or denomination.
